Let’s Talk About the Heavens!
For those who are aware and for those who are not, we have 5 planets currently in retrograde AND a blue moon arriving on Friday morning. This brings some interesting energy. I want to highlight just a few of the things you might be experiencing with each of these.
Neptune in Retrograde: Until November 18th, 2015
The transiting retrograde causes sensitivity and receptivity to be much more acute. This allows us to see far more than is possible when Neptune is direct. This may be the result of augmented intuitive or inner vision giving us a different perspective.
Our feelings become more astute recognizing the illusive. It is easier to ascertain information about issues that have eluded us. You should address these issues and begin working on them or you may be plagued by feelings of disillusion and vague dissatisfaction until you have taken corrective measures.
Make sure you focus on your inner voice but be careful of psychic overload especially for those who are very sensitive.
Pluto In Retrograde: Until September 24th, 2015
Pluto brings us face to face with our shadow self. We often consider the shadow self the “dark side”. It’s our negative emotions and desires that we oppress, often don’t even like to admit to, and deal with those parts of ourselves that we do not like. When Pluto goes retrograde, it’s a good time to take on any endeavors seeking regeneration.
This is an excellent time to work on personal transformation though the process will be less than pleasant. Prepare yourself for the struggles against your darker self and base emotions. This may include hidden motives, hunger for power, or desires for revenge. Don’t just follow blindly, assess, reassess, and assess again until you know what will serve you and release those things that will not.
During this period, it’s a good time to try to restore health and peace of mind.
Saturn in Retrograde: Until August 1st, 2015
Saturn in retrograde is when we should take the time to reexamine everything in our lives. Saturn also represents our limitations and signal a time for us to restructure. It deals and affects programs, organizations and everything that focuses on systems and processes.
This retrograde is about duty, loyalty, perseverance, endurance, form, shape, substance, boundaries and responsibility. It is about being held accountable to others as well as to you. It is about building an empire; creating a solid foundation from which to grow from or toward. It will also assist you in completing anything that is left undone, unattended to, partially completed or not completed at all. It also addresses a need to become more aware of our own authority, power and place in this world. It will push you beyond your limitations by showing you that you are capable of doing far more than you thought you could. It also can take those blind folds off that you keep on your eyes. Saturn gives you the ability to see more deeply into people, situations and things around you. It brings more wisdom to you; but remember this wisdom is usually gained from hard work and hands on experiences.
Saturn gives us strength during this time period. It is a tough process and not an easy one. The reward to all those that toughed it out during this time will be well worth it. One of the biggest rewards is grace. When you have received it, you know that you have done well. It can also be defined as strength in spirit, you may have a deeper sense of compassion for others and self, and an understanding of yourself and wisdom on all levels.
The sign that it rules over is Capricorn, so people with this sun sign experience its greatest effects, all the signs will feel the effects to some degree.
Uranus in Retrograde: Until December 25th, 2015
Uranus still shakes things up for us when it goes retrograde, but it starts to do so in a very pushy way. It pushes us to dig deep and really face the problems and the roadblocks that have impeded progress. It forces us to re-evaluate our values and our priorities. It tends to put the problems we have ignored front and center. It also tends to kick us out of our comfort zones.
Uranus tends to sparks awakenings and inspires us to challenge what we accept as the norm, but when it goes retrograde it forces us to do so through an overhaul. If you’ve been mindlessly heading down the wrong path, it will bring you back to your senses, not harshly but in a way that you will be grateful.
Venus in Retrograde: Until September 6th, 2015
While Venus is retrograde, old friends and/or lovers may reenter one’s life. Expect financial returns be delayed and difficulty expressing or receiving affection. This is generally not a good time to begin new relationships, buy luxury items, or investing in objects of art or items of beauty.
It is however, a good time to reflect on your values, to review your past relationships and to donate your energy to a charitable cause.
By taking place in Capricorn, it promotes serious relationships and practical values, bringing about a yearning for stability that may also leave you feeling alone, even among loved ones and friends. Also being in Capricorn it tends to force you to focus on responsibility and long term commitments. This make it excellent energy to review your professional life, value beauty and simplicity and show respect for your loved ones.
It might be helpful to look back to January 10 – February 5, 1998 and January 2 – February 8, 2006 – the last times Venus was retrograde in Capricorn, for clues to how events may manifest.
Blue Moon: July 31st, 2015
On Friday morning, a Full Moon occurs when the Leo Sun opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
The Leo Sun is proud and intensely individual–not content with simply being just one of the team. The Aquarius Moon, while individualistic as well, values independence and the “team”. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict.
When a Full Moon occurs, we can suddenly burst forth with proclamations and outpours that seem fresh and new, simply because they are not yet rationalized. In fact, a Full Moon illuminates feelings attitudes, and circumstances that are already in existence.
